Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects related to the Supernova Sportsbook platform. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear ownership and communication.
The Project Manager does not act as a technical architect, but must have a strong technical understanding in order to manage dependencies. risks, and delivery across a complex, live sportsbook environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end delivery of projects related to the Supernova platform
• Plan and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and dependencies
• Coordinate Backend, Frontend, QA, Technical Support, and DevOps teams
• Translate product requirements into actionable delivery plans
• Track progress using Jira and ensure transparency across stakeholders
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and manage escalation
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery reviews
• Ensure alignment between the Product roadmap and engineering execution
• Communicate project status clearly to management and partners
• Support release coordination and go-live activities
Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
• Experience in iGaming, sportsbook, or high-availability platforms
• Technical background or prior hands-on development experience
• Experience managing integrations and external partners
• Exposure to live production systems and release management
